More of Anneke's special friends! That's Biggie (short for Birgitte, she's actually rather small); Melena, Tomas' daughter; and her mother, Tina. And there's us with Biggie at the train station. shift gears, I didn't go too fast). Biggie also turned us on to our favorite little town in Germany: Tubingen. Right in the center of town is this river traveling two sides of a grassy park, and the town itself is full of lovely old buildings and cobblestone streets. Left is the old Rathaus (sort of a city hall, has nothing to do with rats per se), about a hundred years ago, and as seen today...essentially the same but in color.
